TV, video games, and internet. Its easy to be lazy and catch up on the latest gossip and TV but in the long run, its only going to do more harm then good.
I don’t have time to exercise. Most people spend an average of 3 hours a day in front of the TV or computer. Durning commercials is the easiest way to sneak in some exercise instead of reaching for a snack. How? Easy really. Do crunches, pushups, leg lifts, lift weighs, squats or jog in place. With each commercial break being around two minutes and a minimum of 9 breaks, its an easy way to get in 18 minutes for every one hour of TV watching. With the average person watching close to 3 hours of TV a day, thats 54 minutes of exercise or almost an hour!
The bottom line is, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to sit stagnant for an extended period of time. Every little bit of activity or movement can help you in the long run. So be active, everyday even if its for ten minutes at a time or during commercials.
