Sometimes we wake up late and need a fast and filling breakfast. Whole grains, fiber and protein as well as healthy fats help to aid in a slow release of long lasting energy to keep us going each day. I’ve been meaning to post this over the summer, but with work and vacation, I neglected to do so. I had the opportunity of sampling four amazing breakfast cookies from Erin’s bakery. I nuked each on in the microwave for a few minutes to give that fresh out of the oven taste.
Double Chocolate Chunck: Oooey Gooey delicious breakfast. What a way to start my day or anyone’s day. All natural and whole grain oats makes this one a guilty guilt-free pleasure.
Carmel Apple: A candy apple where Im pulling out my teeth, Im on board. A filling 5 grams of fiber and only 280 calories makes this one a winner as well as the whole grain oats. I loved this flavor.
Peanut Butter: Oatmeal and crunchy peanut butter is one of my go to breakfasts. A convenient and fast way to have my pure energy breakfast. It tastes so good, it’s hard to believe it’s a good for you breakfast.
Oatmeal Raisin: Raisins, whole grains and cinnamon are conveniently made into a tasty breakfast cookie. 290 calories and 5 filling grams of fiber call for a great breakfast or meal replacement when on the go. Loved it!
